Push-ups can be performed at home to build a larger chest.

As an adult, you can often find something about your body that you want to change or improve. For some women, getting bigger breasts might be the top of their list. While it seems to be common knowledge that you can pay a surgeon to increase your breast size with augmentation surgery, not many woman are willing to go under the knife for a larger chest. At home, you can apply several methods to naturally obtain bigger breasts.

WEAR THE RIGHT BRA

Wearing a properly fitted or padded bra can boost your breasts upward and add to your cup size. According to Oprah, your bra should be worn with the band level all the way around and the shoulder straps tight enough to stay in place. If your bra moves around during the day, or your breasts either do not fill or spill over the cup, then you need to buy a more properly sized bra. Padded bras and bra inserts can give you naturally bigger breasts at home. These items come in a variety of materials and sizes, and can be worn at your discretion. Play with a few different types of padded bras or bra inserts to discover what is best for you.

EXERCISE

Push-ups are one of the more common exercises that target your chest muscles. Strengthening these muscles will add size to your chest. Start on your stomach with your legs together and your hands below your shoulders. Straighten your arms to lift your body off the ground while keeping your back straight. Bend your arms to lower your body until your arms create a 90-degree angle; press back up. Perform this motion until your muscles fatigue.
Perform different styles of push-ups to increase the challenge. Try moving your arms further apart to perform wide-grip push-ups. Move your hands close enough to touch to perform diamond push-ups. Move the placement of your arms down until they are next to your ribs to perform a military push-up.

GAIN WEIGHT

Overall weight gain can cause a woman's breasts to experience their own weight gain. By changing your diet, you can add a few pounds to your body and some size to your breasts. This home remedy is not suited for all women, though. Consult with your doctor before changing your weight to determine if weight gain would cause you to be overweight, which can be problematic for your physical health. According to The American Council on Exercise, healthy weight gain occurs at a rate of 1 lb. per week. For every 3,500 calories you consume, you will gain 1 lb. Eat 250 to 500 additional calories per day to gain 1/2 to 1 lb. per week. Check the label on food products to find foods with more calories per serving. Avoid foods that are high in fat, saturated fat and added sugar.
